My Total Savings So Far- AMAZING!!!!!!

I decided to add up what we've spent so far vs. what we would have paid out of pocket if we hadn't have used coupons. Granted, there were something things that I got that we did not need (ex. my yummy chocolates tonight) but still! Take a look at this:

Items we’ve bought:

· 1 Jumbo pack of diapers: 8.99

· 4 cans of Ice Tea: $4.36

· 12 cans of Veggies: 7.62

· Healthy Choice Meals: 5.00

· Lightbulbs: $1.49

· 4 packs of Baby Wipes: $4.00

· 4 cans of Ice Tea: $4.36

· 3M hooks: $2.97

· Russell Stover chocolate: 8.99

Total price before savings: $91.69

Total price after savings: $21.98

Total Savings So Far: $69.71!!!!!!

I've only been couponing for less than a month and I've already saved our family a little under $100.00. If you have the patience, time, someone to guide you, and a good eye for deals, this is definitely a great way to save some money!

I'm so happy right now!!! I feel like my hard work, research and hours spent looking at coupons and even dreaming (yes, dreaming) of clipping has finally paid off! :)

My trip today! $3.11

First off, I had found some other deals (FREE EPT pregnancy tests at Walmart and FREE Snuggle dryer sheets) but when I got there they were all gone. Although I don't always trust the blue dye pregnancy tests, it would have been nice to have some free ones on hand for when we start trying again!

Anyways, as I posted the other day, Kleenex were going to be $.04 each with the 2 coupons.
Here's how my transaction went:

Kleenex 110 count: $1.29 each
- Use in-ad coupon to make them $.79
- Use printable manufacturer coupon (found in below post: $.75) =
$.04 each (limit of 3)

Russell Stover box of chocolates: $8.99
- Use in-ad coupon to make it $3.99
-Use $1/1 coupon found in last weeks paper=
$2.99

Total: $12.86
Total in coupons: $9.75

Grand Total OOP: $3.11 (before tax)

$.29 paper towel rolls and FREE yogurt at Albertsons!

I wanted to try to use the FREE Small Steps paper towel roll coupon at Albertsons since it's the only place I've seen them sold. Well the coupon states that it's no more than a dollar off. Unfortunately their $1.29 at our Albertsons but STILL! $.29 for paper towels? Not bad. Well I also had a $1 off any Organic brand item that they sell. I found $.99 single yogurts. I also picked up some of their new coupon books and they had the same coupon! I managed to get 5 paper towel rolls and 3 organic yogarts for $1.95!!!

So basically:
Last weeks ad (11/13) had the coupon for $1.00 or FREE Small Steps paper towels.= $.29/each
O Organic yogurts $.99 each. Coupon booklet found near flyers has $1 off any O Organic Item= FREE!

Total before coupons: $9.45
Total coupons: $8.00
Total out of pocket: 1.45 (before tax)

Good day! I'm going to go back and get some more of those yogurts! Also, once I checked out, another $1 off O Organics coupon printed out of the Catalina! :)

$.04 Klenex at Walgreens and cheap body wash!

So even though we're not getting any coupons tomorrow and not very many sales this week, this one seems to be among the best I've found! I've seen tomorrow's flyer and these are the best deals:

Kleenex – $.79 (after the in-ad coupon)
-Use $.75/1 Kleenex coupon here
Final Price = $.04

I would definitely stock up on these! (I'm not sure how many it'll let you print, but I'm going to try in the morning and see how many I can get with our two computers!)

St Ives Body Wash – $1.49 (with in-ad coupon)
-Use $1/1 St. Ives coupon (SS 11/15- Still need to check to be sure I have this one)
Final Price = $.49

There's also an in-ad coupon for a Russell Stover's box of chocolates for $3.99 and you can use the $1 off coupon that we got in last weeks paper to make it $3! I'm craving some chocolate so this may be the perfect cure!

So even though I'm still sick, I'm off to Walgreens tomorrow morning to get these great sales!

Great deal at Walgreens!- First time with Register Rewards!!

So I went into Walgreens tonight for some $.99 cereal (with coupons, of course) and some feminine products. When I walked in, they had some photocopied Walgreen coupon booklets on top of their flyers. They weren't the sale booklets (Christmas design), they were new! SO I grabbed one and looked through it. Originally, Huggies are $11.99 at Walgreens (so pricey!) but they're on sale for $8.99 for a jumbo pack (PLUS $2 in Register Rewards back). Well, in this printed out coupon booklet was a $1 off huggies coupon. AND I had a $2 off Huggies manufacturer coupon making my total......$6.00 plus a $2.00 RR back. So I checked out and paid $6.00 for a jumbo pack of Huggies and 2 boxes of cereal! (Feminine products separate since I paid full price :( )

So here's how it went (with coupons):
Huggies- Sale from $11.99 to $8.99
Coupon in printed flyer: $1 off
and manufacturer coupon $2 off (had on hand from Huggie coupon booklet. You may be able to find a printable one, though.)- found some!! here (IE), here (FF)
Final price: $5.99 with a $2 RR
I checked out for a total of $6 something and got $2 back.

NEXT: (2nd checkout)

Select General Mills cereals originally $4.30 but on sale for $1.99
print (2) $1 off General Mills cereal coupon here (Firefox users), or here (Internet Explorer)
Totals cereals for $.99 each
used $2 RR which made these FREE!!!

Original total:
$11.99 for diapers
$8.60 for cereal-
$20.59

Spent: $6.00

Savings: $14.59!!

I feel like I made out pretty well and I'm definitely proud for using some RR!

40 Rayovac Batteries- FREE!!

So a few days ago I saw that Target had 4 packs of Rayovac batteries in their dollar section. I then found 10 $1 off coupons for Rayovac batteries! PERFECT! I ordered 10 of them off Ebay for $2.00 (You can get coupons off ebay- Remember, you're paying for the clipping and labor, not the coupon itself) and I just got them today! So I went to Target and they worked like a charm!!
Technically I paid $2.00 (for the coupons) but I still saved $8.00! These literally came to my attention at the perfect time because all of Ethan's toys seems to be dying on us!
Great deal!

and some Command 3M hooks

I ended up getting the teas, lightbulbs, and wipes for FREE! All I paid for were the hooks, and that was after a coupon!
