I went to this blog, For The Mommas, which I just found and has been really helpful! While I was looking,I saw some great deals for Walgreens posted. Unfortunately, most of them weren't at my Walgreens (clearance hair care products) but it reminded me that I had a Rimmel coupon from a few weeks back. I brought that as well as my B1G1 Oust coupons because Oust at Walgreens is B1G1 free right now making them all almost FREE! (I'll explain the almost in a min.)
While I was at Walgreens I saw Rimmel had some nail polish, mascara, and makeup on clearance.
The Nail polish I got was orignially $3.99
On clearance for $.87
With $1.00 Rimmel coupon
= FREE!
Oust B1G1 $4.39 each
B1G1 coupon (stated on coupon- Max amount $3.99)
* I got 3 cans for free, and 3 cans for $.29 each since there was a $.29 overage with the limit
= $.15 a can!
Total before savings: $30.34
Total spent: $.90 (before tax)
Total savings: $29.44
Even paying $.15 a can is still an amazing deal!! There were some great coupons in this morning paper (especially the Bic razors) so I'll be getting some deals together in the next day or two and posting them when (and how) they work!
How does the oust become so cheap when it is only a buy one get one free? I am missing something...
ReplyDeleteI got my coupons and adds yesterday. At Fred Meyers they had ALL laundry detergent on sale for 2.99 with in store coupon. I also have 1.50 off coupon making the total 1.50 for 32 loads. I am going to buy all I can. Does that seem like a good enough deal?
Yeah, that's a great deal.
ReplyDeleteThe deal was B1G1 free at Walgreens already, PLUS I had some B1G1 free from last weeks paper. Therefore, the one I'm buying in the deal is free since the B1G1's work with each other. Basically, I would have bought the 1 in the B1G1 free without the coupon, but with the coupon, the one I would have bought is free.
Gotcha! Thanks. I missed it. It is too hard to keep track of all this and run into town all the time. I am going to try for some deals today though. Thanks.
