(It's been a while..) Great savings today!!

Although things didn't go EXACTLY as I would have liked them to (when do they ever?)I still made out well.
My friend Sara and I are splitting the Olay deal that's going on this week. There's a rebate deal with Olay that if you buy any 3 Olay Facial Moisturizers, Facial Treatments, Facial Cleansers, Hand & Body Lotions, Body Washes, or 6+ Bar Soap Packs you get a $15 rebate!

There were 2 different coupons that would help you out with this. Here's how my deals went:

Buy 3 Olay Total Effects Body wash $5.49
Use 3 Free Body wash when you buy Venus Razor from Sunday Paper 2/7

Buy 3 Venus Embrace Razor $7.99 (this price varies by region)
Use 3 $2.00/1 from Sunday Paper 2/7

Final price OOP: $17.98
Get a $5 giftcard for the buy 3 Venus Razor Deal
Total Price= $12.98
PLUS! you submit the $15 rebate and it becomes a $2.02 moneymaker

(Some people are saying that Target is also doing a $5 giftcard for buying 3 Olay Total Effect products, but never once did I see a sign at mine and even after buying them, the giftcard never came out. )

2nd Transaction:

Sobe Life Waters: $1.02 regular price
Target.com coupons here have a $.50/1 coupon (can print twice per computer)
PLUS Sobe's website has a B1G1 Free printable here (IE) or here (FF)
= $.52 for 2!
There were also the Sobe Goji Melon that were on sale for $.62 each! If you got two of these, you'd be paying $.12 for two! Fantastic deal.
I got 8 which came to: $.88 for all 8! (I actually paid $1.90 because the cashier forgot to scan one of my B1G1 coupons.)

(This is where I messed up....)
There was an unadvertised deal going on at Target for $1.00 ziplock 17-packs. There was a $1.00/2 ZIPLOCK coupons in the Sunday Paper a few weeks ago, making them $.50 a pack. WELL, I accidentally grabbed HEFTY! However, (this is my justification...) The cashier gave me such a hard time at checkout and forgot to scan one of my $1.02 coupons, so I actually paid full price for me Heftys. Does that work?!
Original price: 2.00 each
Sale for: $1.00
$1.00/2 coupon
= $1.00 for 2

Vasoline: $1.42

I do feel guilty when things like this happens because you feel like you did something wrong. However, I've noticed that a few times I've had my coupons skipped over, or a deal not work in my favor when it should have, so I feel as though these things tend to even themselves out.

Total price before savings: $54.02
Total after savings: $17.98 (paid for 2nd transaction with $5.00 giftcard)
Total Saved: $36.72!
PLUS we get the $15.00 rebate, making my total spent after the rebate: $2.30!
