Savings for last week:

I was behind on updating since we had such a busy week but I did make some killer savings. Unfortunately on one of the nights I came home, I put everything away before I realized I didn't take a picture, so no proof of that trip! But, my laundry detergant one is the one I really want to share. This just goes to show again how awesome getting coupons from Ebay AND dumpsters can be!!

Walgreens last week had Purex 32 load laundry detergent on sale for $4.99.
There was an in-ad coupon making them $1.99 each
There were $2 Purex printables (that ran out before I could share them)
But there were also 12 $2/1 coupons on Ebay. I ended up paying $2 for 12 of them which made 16 bottles (4 printables) for FREE!! (I only got 12 bottles on this trip.)

There were also the $1/2 Mar's Candy coupons in the Redplum from last week making the Snicker's eggs FREE. This is where dumpster diving comes in but NO. We (my friend Sara and I) do not dive into the dumpster. There are trash cans by the mailboxes in her neighborhood. On Tuesdays after the Redplums come we go through and go through the fliers to see if people have thrown away their RPs. Once we see gross trash, or if anything is wet, we quit. Anyways, we were each able to get 5 more on top of our 1 RP so I was able to get 6 coupons, or 12 eggs for free.

My reciept was fantastic! I haven't seen savings like this in a while! My total (which was only tax) came out to $1.66 and they actually only let me use 5 coupons since the 6th would have been taking off $1 in tax. Anyways, take a look! :)

So since I can't add up my Target trip from last week, I'll just do this trip plus my trip with the 4 other detergents together:

Total before savings: 89.84 (before tax)
Total after coupons: $1.66 (after tax)

Total saved: $88.18

Obviously everything was free since I didn't include the tax into the before total but we'll pretend tax matters ;)

Great savings!
